What information do we collect?
If you search without an account, we collect nothing personally identifiable. If you create an account, we may store your first and last name, your email address, and any optional details you add to your profile such as a phone number or photo. An email is the only requirement. Everything you provide is strictly private and visible only to you.
Can businesses see my contact info?
No. Businesses cannot see your email address, phone number, or any account details — whether you are messaging them directly or posting a project. When you message a business, they see only your display name and what you write. On a posted project, contractors see only your first name and project details. Your home address is never shared until you explicitly accept a contractor's bid. The only way a business ever gets your contact information is if you type it yourself.
Do you sell my data?
No. Your personal information will never be sold, rented, licensed, or shared with any advertiser, data broker, lead service, or third-party marketer — under any circumstance. It exists solely to operate your account. We do not profit from your data.
Do you use cookies or trackers?
We use session cookies for authentication only — to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking of any kind.

Most home services platforms profit from selling your contact information to as many contractors as possible. You submit one inquiry and five businesses call you in the next hour. We built LooKN4 to work the opposite way.
